Our Engineering Team at MEE bring over 15 years of experience of practical design experience from the aerospace and space industries. In our last 3 years, we've had the privilege to work with a lot of great companies on many challenging, high value projects.
Our team has designed numerous printed circuit board assemblies and dozens of electrical harnesses, working with our trusted partners to have the hardware built, or for customers who do their own builds, we support the build process with their vendors. We have also worked on test sets for more than 30 assemblies.
On the testing side, we’ve supported and performed over 30 environmental tests including random vibration, thermal cycling, shock, EMI testing, and thermal vacuum testing. Our support has included designing the test setup, writing the test plan and test procedure, designing and building the test assembly and supporting test equipment, performing the test, and writing the test report.

As the founder of MEE, Zach brings over 16 years of industry-leading experience in electrical and electronics engineering. His career began at United Launch Alliance, where he worked in the Avionics department, contributing to projects involving some of the most advanced aerospace technologies. At ULA, he played a key role in designing and developing critical Avionics systems for the Atlas V, Delta IV, and Vulcan launch vehicles, demonstrating expertise in power distribution, sensor integration, thrust vector control, and communication systems. His leadership on these projects extended from initial concept and design through qualification testing and integration, ensuring mission success for some of the most demanding aerospace applications.
Throughout his career, Zach has excelled not only as an engineer but also as a project manager, leading teams to deliver complex electronics solutions on time and within budget. He has a proven track record of working with major suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing bills of materials, and driving large-scale electronics design efforts. His hands-on approach to problem-solving is evident in his extensive experience with qualification testing, environmental testing, and EMI testing to stringent industry standards such as MIL-STD-1540C and MIL-STD-461G. Whether troubleshooting a challenging test failure or optimizing system performance, he consistently delivers innovative solutions that meet the needs of his customers.
